This man deserves the Bharat Ratna if ever anybody did. Every day I travel in the marvel created by him and remember him. When there is a snag in the Delhi Metro, it is breaking news for all the news channels. It would take a 1000 DTC buses to break down before the news channels bother to even report it (let alone break with it). I find a lot of people interview him and want to give his full name (rightly so). But they mess it up. So here is the correct way to pronounce his name
el-art-uh-vuh-lup-pill shri-the-run (if you cannot say 'shri' pronounce it like the 'siri' in Apple)
In Hindi, this would read as, ऎलाट्टुवळप्पिल श्रीधरन (छोटा ए)
In Malayalam, this would read as എലാട്ടുവള പ്പിള് ശ്രീധരന്
