My common bloopers 15 - Kolkata

I used to pronounce this as Calcutta like everybody did. Then they changed it to Kolkata. For some strange reason (thanks to the media perhaps), I started pronouncing it as Kaul-cutter. Then someone corrected me and I started pronouncing it as coal-carter. Though it is written with a long 'a' sound after the second 'k', the correct pronunciation is coal-cutter. If you can read Devanagari, कोलकता. If you are used to my pronunciation key, koolkataa.
