The recent announcement of the National awards was a sound for sore ears. Every possible name was mauled in every possible way. I doubt if the head of the jury bothered to see any of the films that he was announcing, although he claimed that he was mauling the names because he could not do his homework owing to the taxing schedule of watching films.
